Acacia Industries commenced operations as a reforestation company in year 2006 by planting timber trees on approximately 22,000 acres of land in Kelantan. Our timber trees comprise primarily of Rubber tree (timber latex clone) and Acacia spp (mangium/hybrid).

Tropical reforestation has been highlighted as an important intervention for climate change mitigation because of its carbon storage potential. With a focus on biophysical environment (including landscape connectivity and reduced pressure on forests for sustainable production of timber-related products), Acacia Industries manages the reforestation with both adaptation and mitigation objectives in mind, so as to maximize synergies among these diverse roles.
